Description
A stole of cream silk net with embroidered edges and motifs.
This stole belonged to Ellen McCormack's great grandmother Marie Elsie Macmillan (nee Barca) who was born in Remsburg, Germany. Marie married Donald Macmillan in St Croix and had four children Robert, Ellen's Grandfather, Charles, Evangeline (Daisy Johnston), Lillian. The Macmillan family were important early settlers to the Tauranga region.
