Description
A 56 page centre stapled soft covered recipe book containing recipes which claim to be economical using the Highlander Brand unsweetened condensed milk for 'everyday' family cookery. The cover has a colour illustration while the rest of the book is in black and white including the recipes and advertisements.
The recipes were formerly demonstrated by the New Zealand Milk Products Limited at the demonstration kitchen at Auckland Exhibition 1913 - 1914. The cookery book was revised and added to by Mrs Turner. The book gives information about using the product for infant feeding due to the purity of the product. This was compared to the milk supplied by the milkman.
