Description
A note written by Horatio Gordon Robley to John Cuthert Adams. Undated. Has been written on a scrap of paper with typing on it.

Written rather in hurry so excuse writing on printed paper – Donnes book Māori Past & Present has in its cannibalism chapter a Mayfair of me as a “horrid” man
Sir J Parr seems always busted – 415 is a smart Hall & Library – I read all the cables but am anxious for the history of the … and friends -
I suppose it is jolly weather now with you – Here it has been changeable – anyhow I have kept up drawing in my memoirs I go with Mair Maketu – Matatā & 2 fighting pas I forget name years after he sent me a “poria” in greenstone found at Opo [?] where he had been This poria for a birds leg had been an ear ornament.
