Description
A carte de viste print showing a piece of agricultural equipment with several men standing on and around the the machine. Handwritten on reverse, ‘Darby’s patent Broadside Digger. One of the first made. Later they were made with 6 forks instead of only 3.' A stamp reads, 'The Agricultural & General Engineering Co. Ltd. 2 Walbrook. E.C., Works – Regents Canal Dock, 602 Commercial Road East London'. See 0169/12.
