A bamboo pith style helmet, with bamboo band and stitched crown. Green binding on brim. Black knob on top. Handwritten on underside of brim "Rangoon, Burma 1979." On inner crown "Met Fisher. Dowell - Surveyers & Engineers L. Mis Aust Rangoon."
