Description
Crown of hat is covered in folds of taupe crimped georgette and edged with black satin which is wired. Crown higher at front and back. Gathered fine straw edged with black artificial leather. Brim formed from piping. Decorated with black jet beads at intervals around the base of the crown above the brim. Black taffeta lining. Label inside brim 'Chapeau Suzette, Auckland, New Zealand'.
