Description
A cream dress with short sleeves, embroidered red and green flowers on sleeves, collar and pockets. Bodice darted at waistline back and front. Continuous collar cut from top bodice. Four red buttons on front. One red button on self made belt. Four pleats on front skirt. Two shoulder pads. Label inside collar reads "Crawford Gown by La Fayette".
This dress is thought to be new old stock which came from Hartley's Drapery, a well known store which operated on The Strand, Tauranga.
