Description
Gathered cotton skirt with a pocket on the right front. Opens down the front with six green buttons and one button at the waist. Stylized pineapples arranged in rows in colours of green, black and gold on a grey and cream background. Size SSW. Original shop label attached - promotes buying NZ made. Label reads 'Glenar by Roslyn, Made in NZ, This Garment is made for New Zealanders by New Zealanders in New Zealand. Buy 'New Zealand Made' and Keep New Zealand's Workers Employed. This skirt is thought to be new old stock which came from Hartley's Drapery, a well known store which operated on The Strand, Tauranga.
