A studio portrait of a man and a woman. The woman is wearing a cloche hat, fur stole, drop-waist dress and carrying gloves. The man is in a suit with bow-tie and boutonniere. They are standing in front of a painted backdrop. Subjects identified by donor as her parents, Thomas and Esme Milne. The photograph was taken in 1928.
The Milnes were a well known local family who lived at 61 Cameron Road, located between Spring Street and Elizabeth Street. The property later became part of the new Tauranga Fire Station on Cameron Road.
