Description
A black and white print showing five people, two men and three women, and a horse outside a wooden weatherboard building, with hills in the background. Handwritten in black pen on reverse, 'All Saints Anglican Church, Waitekauri. Taken 1908 after the building had been unused for seven years. It was renovated and repainted by working 'bees' who then worked to restore the Presbyterian Church and Ben Gwilliam Snr overhauled both organs. Services conducted fortnightly in each church. Same congregations at each, Rev. A. S. Buckland (Ang.) Rev. W. White (Pres.). Choirmaster Ben G. Organists Maggie Gordon (1914) and Cyril Gwilliam (1914-1916). L. to R. Miss Scott ...... Mrs Gordon Snr, Ben G., Nell Corbett. Gwilliam Collection." The print is mounted on cream cardboard.
