Description
A replica double barrelled musket made in Italy. Imported for the 150th anniversary commemorations of the Battle of Pukehinahina Gate Pa. The stock is made of walnut and was carved by local master carvers Whare Thompson and Damien Kohu. The gun was purchased by Eves Realty and gifted to the collection. A small plaque fixed to the butt reads "Battle of Gate Pa Tauranga, 150th Commemoration 1864-2014 Romans 12:20". Serial No. K37024.
