Description
A green quilted eiderdown with damask front and cotton backing. Petal type pattern on front has additional ruched fabric. One of a pair.
This eiderdown was owned by Mabel Hartley (later Mabel Lamport) of Hartley's Drapery, grandmother of the donor. Hartley's was 'the' clothing store for Tauranga and was on The Strand from the early 20th Century to the 1980s.
