Description
Naval Officer's cap. Stiffened black band round base of cap. Band is leather, lined on the inside. Brim is mottled leather, lined with green and edged with a leather strip. Has a narrow leather strip between brim and base of cap. The cap has padded cloth top. Naval badge attached to middle front of cap above the brim.

Cap was owned and worn by Lieutenant-Commander William James Connor, Royal Nay Volunteer Reserve.
