Description
A Keystone Model A-7 16mm movie camera. Metal body with black buckram/leather covering. Clockwork driven with winding mechanism on proper right side at top. Below is speed control. Top proper left side is exposure calculator. The camera has been extensively modified including adjusttible lens mount that gives user four lens options. It is believed that this lens mount was made by John Mowlem. The camera sits on a wooden base that was made by Hugh Whitehead. It is not original to the camera.

This camera was owned and used by Norman Blackie (c1898-1983) who was a well known amateur film maker. Blackie was a member of the Tauranga Movie Club.
