Description
A framed watercolour of Te Papa, Tauranga, signed by J. Kinder. A wheatfield is in the foreground with two wheat stacks proper left. Mauao, the Mission Station and the Mission Cemetery can be seen in the distance. Proper right corner is inscribed with 'Christmas 1857' and proper left 'Te Papa Tauranga NZ'. 'J. Kinder' signature is above in pencil. Painting is surrounded by a cream mount with brown edging and is in a gold frame.
