Description
Half plate glass negative showing a view looking south east from Mauao across the camping ground. Tents, caravans and sheep are visible in the foreground. A rear view of the Pilot's House is in the centre. This house was the residence of the Davies family at this time. Hotel Oceanside is centre left. The pine plantation, Papamoa Hills and Welcome Bay Hills are on the horizon.
