Description
Half plate glass negative showing a view of Mauao and Pilot Bay, Mount Maungnaui. The photograph was taken from the Hull Road area. The boat 'Mavis' which is visible belonged to the photographer Alf Rendell. Alf, who was a professional photographer operating in Tauranga from the 1930s onwards has identified this image as his favourite.
