Description
A sepia postcard titled 'Lake Tarawera and Mountain, with site of Buried Village in foreground'. The photo shows a mud covered countryside with lake and mountain in the background. A message on the back is addressed to Mr Frank Westwood, Wellington and suggests that next time he goes away he come to Rotorua for three days. Top left hand corner reads 'F.T. Series No.1034.' Date stamped 1912.
