Description
A colour slide of a front-end loader with cables/chain attached to bucket, cables are pulling unidentified object from beneath ground level. ‘For over 30 years the service station on the corner of 11th Avenue and Cameron Road has been a well-known landmark. Now, the bulldozer has added one more conquest in the march of progress and a new-look service station and dairy have taken its place. The new station will be much easier to access and visibility on this dangerous corner will be much improved’ – 10 December 1966, Photo News.
