Description
A colour slide showing a float that is part of the Tauranga Orange Festival Parade. People are standing on the float, with mock equipment and sign ‘Computakid’. Business sign in background: Lucas (N.Z.) Ltd. Other signage on the float indicates that the float may have been created by the Maternity Annex at the Tauranga Hospital.
The Tauranga Heritage Collection has more than 2000 photographic slides taken by Robert Gale. Robert and his family moved to Tauranga in the early 1960s and he taught at Merivale School until retirement. Robert was a member of the Tauranga Photographic Society for many years.
