Description
A black and white slide showing two elephants with a boy. The boy appears to be in a school uniform. The location has been identified as Tauranga Domain. Recorded by photographer as ‘Young elephants, Bullen’s circus’. "Tauranga's young-in-heart were given a rare treat in December when Bullen brothers' circus paid a two-day visit to the Domain. The programme of fast-moving acts presented the cream of the world's big-top performers and there was certainly something for everyone from the thrilling wire rope and trapeze acts to the grace of perfectly trained horses and the comedy of the clowns.'
