A colour slide showing a circus tent, caravans and vehicles at Memorial Park, Tauranga. Recorded by photographer as ‘Circus tent Memorial Park’. "Boys and girls of all ages from two to 80 years have always enjoyed traditional circus entertainment in most of the countries of the world. Bay of Plenty enthusiasts had plenty of opportunity to spend a few hours under the big top when Ashtons Circus visited the main centres recently." Bay of Plenty Photo News, 30 July 1967

Robert and his family moved to Tauranga in the early 1960s and he taught at Merivale School until retirement. Robert was a member of the Tauranga Photographic Society for many years.
