Description
A colour slide of monkeys which has been dressed in a costume riding and pushing a bicycle. A man is holding a chain which is attached to at least one of the monkeys. One of the monkeys was called Charlie Brown. This has been identified as Marineland on Motuiriki Island. Recorded by the photographer as ‘Monkeys on leads riding bicycle’. "Visitors to Mount Maunganui will soon find an interesting new attraction to claim their attention. Some months ago we reported the start of work on the new Seaquarium. Today work is rapidly nearing completion and it is hoped that the project will be finished in good time for the holidays." Bay of Plenty Photo News, 15 October 1966
