A colour slide showing an aerial view of Cameron Road, Tauranga, looking South. The Catholic Church on the corner of Elizabeth Street and Cameron Road is visible as is a side view of the Brain Watkins House on the opposite corner. Recorded by the photographer as ‘Cameron Road from Fire Brigade Tower T.L. (195 Cameron Rd)’.
The Tauranga Heritage Collection has more than 2000 photographic slides taken by Robert Gale. Robert and his family moved to Tauranga in the early 1960s and he taught at Merivale School until retirement. Robert was a member of the Tauranga Photographic Society for many years.
