Description
A colour slide showing houses, a school and fields. Mauao is in the background. The school has been identified as Otumoetai College, Tauranga. Recorded by the photographer as ‘Bellevue’. "The new Otumoetai College which is being built in Windsor Road, Bellevue. When completed (1965) there will be accommodation for about 200 third form boys and girls. It will be added to in stages until full college facilities are available up to school leaving age." Tauranga Photo News, 2 May 1964

Robert and his family moved to Tauranga in the early 1960s and he taught at Merivale School until retirement. Robert was a member of the Tauranga Photographic Society for many years.
