Description
A colour slide showing a building which appears to be a church with a steeple. Recorded by the photographer as ‘St Columba Presbyterian Church, 502 Otumoetai Rd’. "Construction is well ahead on the new Presbyterian Church of St Columba, Otumoetai Road, the foundation stone of which is due to be laid today by Very Rev. A.D. Horwell, past Moderator of the General Assemby and previous director of the Home Ministry, Presbyterian Church of New Zealand." Tauranga Photo News, 30 April 1966

Robert and his family moved to Tauranga in the early 1960s and he taught at Merivale School until retirement. Robert was a member of the Tauranga Photographic Society for many years.
