Description
A colour slide showing a man looking down a chimney at the top of a building. The building is identified as Tauranga Hospital. Recorded by the photographer as ‘Top of new chimney (hospital) 120 feet’. "The new Tauranga hospital block was opened on the last day of October by the Minister of Health, Mr D.N. McKay". Robert and his family moved to Tauranga in the early 1960s and he taught at Merivale School until retirement. Robert was a member of the Tauranga Photographic Society for many years.
