A colour slide showing a chimney and five-story building. Building identified as Tauranga Hospital. Recorded by the photographer as ‘Old hospital chimney from new one’. "The new Tauranga hospital block was opened on the last day of October by the Minister of Health, Mr D.N. McKay". Tauranga Photo News, 14 November 1964

Robert and his family moved to Tauranga in the early 1960s and he taught at Merivale School until retirement. Robert was a member of the Tauranga Photographic Society for many years.
