Description
A colour slide showing a car parked on grass with people looking at it. The location is identified as Wharepai Domain, Tauranga. Recorded by the photographer as 'Vintage car rally, Domain, Frazer-Nash (chain driven). "Organised jointly by the Auckland and Bay of Plenty branches of the New Zealand Vintage Car Club, a rally at Wharepai Domain was one of the most successful to be held in Tauranga. After a timed run from Auckland, 75 cars took part in the rally events which were watched by a large crowd." Tauranga Photo News, 5 March 1966

Robert and his family moved to Tauranga in the early 1960s and he taught at Merivale School until retirement. Robert was a member of the Tauranga Photographic Society for many years.
