Description
A colour slide showing a boat towing water-skiers who appear to be forming a pyramid. The location is identified as the Tauranga harbour. Recorded by the photographer as 'Junior pyramid, Water ski-ing Maungatapu'. "During the Christmas holidays, Tauranga Water Ski Club held a demonstration on the inner harbour at Maungatapu. A large crowd watched the events which were difficult to stage at times due to blustery wind." Tauranga Photo News, 5 February 1966

Robert and his family moved to Tauranga in the early 1960s and he taught at Merivale School until retirement. Robert was a member of the Tauranga Photographic Society for many years.
