Description
A colour slide showing a tree on top of hill. There is a monument in the forground which looks like a fountain. A woman is looking at the monument. Recorded by the photographer as "Top of Meml. hill, Paeroa". The monument is identified as the original two metre high, three-dish fountain, Bradford Memorial on Primrose Hill, Paeroa.

The Tauranga Heritage Collection has more than 2000 photographic slides taken by Robert Gale. Robert and his family moved to Tauranga in the early 1960s and he taught at Merivale School until retirement. Robert was a member of the Tauranga Photographic Society for many years.
