Description
A fused exploding ball identified as being used by an 18-pounder. The ball is hollow and has a central threaded hole for the fuse. It is recorded that this cannonball was found on a property in Gate Pa and given to Tauranga College in the 1950s (now Tauranga Boys' College). At this time the school had a display case that contained objects of local historical interest.
