Description
A colour slide of a float in the Tauranga Orange Festival parade. The float represents the façade of a whare, in front of which is a woman waving to the crowds, wearing a gold pantsuit, headgear and a purple sash. Six men are standing on the float dressed in black suits. A maori boy is crouched in front of the facade and he is wearing a cloak. The float is decorated in ferns and flowers of the wattle tree. A dart board completes the decoration. On the side of the truck is a poster of three surf life savers and labelled 'AUSTRALIA'.
