Description
A colour slide of a float in the Tauranga Orange Festival parade. The float in the shape of an elephant is travelling down Cameron Road past the Gate Pa Primary School. The sign in front of the float reads "Four Square Parade of Floats". People are standing on the side of the road watching. The Tauranga Photo News in September 1966 features a photograph of the float with the following caption 'Orange Festival Queen, June Northcroft, and her princesses ride on the City Council float at the head of the parade'.
