Description
A two-story house located at 46 Botanical Road. Has been identified as the former stables for the Experimental Station. By 1990s was a Backpackers’ Hostel. May have been built in the 1920s.
One of seventy photographs of buildings within the Te Papa Peninsula taken by Lyn Harpham in 1995 and 1999. Lyn Harpham was a historian and recipient of the Tauranga Heritage Award. Accompanying the images are handwritten notes made by Lyn and a brochure printed as a guide to a bus tour of the homes conducted by Lyn on 4 December 1995.
