Description
Coloured postcard showing an interior view of St. Mary's Church, New Plymouth. Printing on the reverse reads 'St. Mary's Church, New Plymouth. Much of the history of New Plymouth and Taranaki is embodied in the fine old stone church of St. Mary's at the foot of Marsland Hill. A centre of worship for more than 100 years, it is the oldest stone church in New Zealand. The walls inside are hung with the banners of regiments which have fought for Taranaki.'
