Description
A black and white print of students at Katikati District High School. The girls are wearing dark gym dresses, white blouse with school tie, blazers, black stockings and shoes. The boys have black woollen shirts, two have blazers and no ties. All wearing one badge – probably the prefect badge. Taken on a patch of rough ground with fence and trees and shrubs in background. Names on reverse "Standing Theo Thomas, Eldon Rapley, John Sharpe. Seated Colleen Svenson, Pat Holmes, Mary Cooper, Madeline Pye, Enid Rapley." May Cooper is holding the sign “Katikati DHS 1940 Prefects.
