Description
Karen and Joanne Johnston sitting on an ironing board with a blanket on it. Karen is wearing a white dress with smocking on the yoke and sleeves. Joanne’s dress has a tucked white inset in the bodice and a white peter pan collar with a lace edge. There is embroidery on the bodice below the inset and the dress fabric appears to be a pastel colour. The background is a bold patterned wallpaper on the wall where the fire place stands. The surround is tiled with a mantelpiece on which stands from the left a wedding photo, a silver trophy, a silver or pewter mug, and a mantel clock.
