Description
A colour photographic print showing a view of Vesey Stewart’s linen factory, Lisduart, Co. Tyrone, N.Ireland. A side view of the three storied brick building was designed by the architect Fitzgibbon Louch for George Vesey Stewart who lived nearby in Ballygawley. Stuart promoted an organised settlement of Irish people in Katikati, NZ. Since his day the factory has had different uses and in 2003 was a furniture factory.
