Description
A sepia photograph showing nine young women, five standing and four sitting with a dog outside a building on the lawn. The building is identified as being part of the Oceanside Hotel, Mount Maunganui c1946/47. There were buildings adjacent to the hotel but not part of it for staff accommodation. Several women wearing white uniforms and a cap who may have been waitresses and others in floral dresses. The donor’s mother worked at the Oceanside Hotel at this time.
