Description
A photograph of Damien Fenton a visitor to Whakaari White Island. It was recorded that he was standing in front of rock that was part of the 1913 landslide that killed ten miners. Part of a set of 23 coloured photographs documenting a trip to Whakaari White Island made on 27th September 1981. The photographs include scenes of flying to the island and the landscape and ruins at that time.
