A collage created by Nicol Sanders-O'Shea, one of twenty-one in the 'Brave New World' series. This work features the words 'We can all spread'. The dominant colours are orange and blue. A central image is a person being given mouth to mouth resuscitation. Sanders-O'Shea was inspired by 19th century 'how-to guides' and children’s annuals. This series explores notions of change and the impact of Covid-19.
The artwork was commissioned by Supercut Projects with support from Creative New Zealand. Fifteen of the works were printed on flags which were displayed in Durham Street, Tauranga during October - November 2021.
