Description
A collage created by Nicol Sanders-O'Shea, one of twenty-one in the 'Brave New World' series. This work features the words 'Sanitiser Station'. The dominant colours are green and yellow. A central image is of a kiwi in a circle. Sanders-O'Shea was inspired by 19th century 'how-to guides' and children’s annuals. This series explores notions of change and the impact of Covid-19.
The artwork was commissioned by Supercut Projects with support from Creative New Zealand. Fifteen of the works were printed on flags which were displayed in Durham Street, Tauranga during October - November 2021.
