Description
A colour slide showing a person at the top of a hill and the view of a large body of water, interrupted by portions of land in the top half of the photograph, as well as a port and town. Docked at the wharf is a large ship. Recorded by the photographer as "Bluff, from hilltop".
The Tauranga Heritage Collection has more than 2000 photographic slides taken by Robert Gale. Robert and his family moved to Tauranga in the early 1960s and he taught at Merivale School until retirement. Robert was a member of the Tauranga Photographic Society for many years.
