Description
A black and white portrait orientated photograph of a building and the building and transportation materials around it. The end of the building has mudbrick walls and shingle roofing. The rest of the structure has wooden weatherboards and a corrugated iron roof. Writing on the reverse reads ' Hop Kiln, Nelson'.
This image is part of a collection of one hundred and fifteen photographic copy prints that were taken by Thurston Charles Kingston. Kingston, a member of the Tauranga Photographic Society, regularly entered photographic competitions and during the 1960s won prizes in both the open and amateur classes.
