Description
A colour postcard showing a view of a park taken through a rose covered arch. In the middle ground there is a statue of a person holding what appears to be a plaque. Further back there is another statue in the middle of a water feature. Printing on the reverse reads "Tauranga New Zealand. City of beautiful parks, trees and gardens. A view of Robbins Park Rose Gardens, with Mt Maunganui just featuring in the background. Also in this park is the begonia house, a native bird aviary, and the historic Monmouth Redoubt, scene of battles during the Maori wars.'
