Description
A jacket-bodice that is part of a suit. It matches a skirt with the accession number 2485/84. The jacket-bodice is made from violet and gold shot silk. The jacket-bodice is fully lined, fitted and is waist length. The neck is round and bound. There is no collar. The front opening has nine hand stitched buttonholes with covered buttons in brown silk. The jacket-bodice has brown silk trim with brown fringe which is square in shape at the front and v shaped at the back. The sleeves set in and long sleeved with brown trim decoration on the lower sleeve.
