Description
A plastic Brownie Starlet viewfinder camera taking 4cmx4cm images on 127 film. The camera has a Dakon Lens, detachable base and a black braided cord strap. This camera was one of the successful 'Star' series of Brownies.
This camera is part of the Alf Rendell collection. A photographer and camera shop owner from the 1930s until his retirement in the 1970s, Alf Rendell has captured many important images of Tauranga and the wider region. In 2016 the Toi Ohomai Alf Rendell Photography Scholarship was established.
