Description
A brown bakelite Brownie Holiday viewfinder camera for 127 film. Most of the body of the camera is brown as is the strap that is attached, the front is silver and in the the top right hand corner is a red circle with "Kodak" written in it. There is a large white knob on the top left while the white shutter button is on the opposite side.
This camera is part of the Alf Rendell collection. A photographer and camera shop owner from the 1930s until his retirement in the 1970s, Alf Rendell has captured many important images of Tauranga and the wider region. In 2016 the Toi Ohomai Alf Rendell Photography Scholarship was established.
