Description
A Braun Paxette 28, 126 film catridge viewfinder camera with printing around the lens which reads 'Braun Color Paxon 128/38 PRONTO 125'. Camera comes with a black leather case. The Paxette series of cameras was considered to be very good quality with superior optics.
This camera is part of the Alf Rendell collection. A photographer and camera shop owner from the 1930s until his retirement in the 1970s, Alf Rendell has captured many important images of Tauranga and the wider region. In 2016 the Toi Ohomai Alf Rendell Photography Scholarship was established.
